Today we heading to Adak Island. Not a very eventful voyage I must say. Reading, cooking and minor repairs fill the day. Richer in wildlife we expect to see otters, sea-lions, bald eagles, golden eagles, ducks, sccoters and of course our anchor nightmare - kelp.
We arrived just after dawn and anchored inside Trapper's Cove on the West side of Adak. With excellent hills around it should provide good hiking and opportunities to observe the wildlife.
Adak is a former US Naval Base and the first sign of permanent civilization. Not a customs entry port yet.
