We arrived to the coast of PNG at 9 am after a bit of slower sailing, good
for us as it gave us daylight for finding our way in among the Islands.
We decided to go to Samarai Island as the closest place to clear in to
PNG.
We arrived Samarai at 11 am and anchored outside the Jetty. We hoisted our
yellow Q flag and had a swim and a nice lunch.
After lunch we saw a man with a cap waiving from the pier. In with the
Dinghy to collect Felix that did our clearing nice and quick-
The weather had deterioated, with westely winds and rain so we moved over
to the lee side of Rogeia Island for the night.
I and Steve spent the rest of the afternoon working on a clogged toilet.
After that we needed another swim before we had dinner of mashed
sweet potato and bangers.
All is well,
Lars and crew. |
