Still 500nm to go and reach Tarawa. Due to Kiribati policy we need to
bypass all atolls and go straight to the capital for clearing in. There
with a cruising permit we would be allowed to visit the other atolls, which will
not happen because this would mean backtrapping our voyage and adding miles and
time, a commodity we short off right now. MArshall Islands is our next
stop.
Still light breeze, moving ahead at 6kts pace and is HOTTTTTTT, hard to
sleep. Heat and boat’s rolling are most favourable conditions for
insomnia. |
