We woke up to a sunny morning and had a nice morning swim.

 

We had decided to do the long jump bast Bouganville Island down to the Solomons. 125Nm.

 

Sometimes things don’t go as planned. Morning coffee and the big flame on the cooker did not work. Worse than that when we tried to winch up the anchor nothing happened. It took a couple of hours of sweating in the anchor locker before I had worked out what was wrong and replaced a faulty cabel.

 

We are now moving down the coast of Bouganville Island and have had lots of squalls with rain and lightning. We should be at Balalai Island Sunday before noon.
