Victoria harbour, Labuan island

We left Miri 06:30 Tuesday Nov. 5
Soon we picked up a nice breeze and had a great downwind sail NE to Labuan Island.
We had to gybe different angles to avoid the many oil installations in the water.
Registered top speed of 12.7 knots and arrived Victoria after 16 hours. A bit challenging to navigate into the harbour in the dark. There was hundreds of anchored oil platforms and supply ships and it was raining. A nice anchor dram after we dropped the hook.

Wedensday we were woken up by angry honking from a ship. Turnedout we had anchored outside a ferry terminal!
The rest of the day was devoted to shopping. Mostly of the alcoholic variation as Labuan is a tax free island.
Finished the day with dinner with a nice dinner on a chinese restaurant and some sampling of our purchases.

Lars and crew.
