We spend the day touring the town. Beautiful and charming. A result of being a cruise ship destination. Due to the volcano eruption no cruise-ship is stopping here and business is suffering. You see 50% discount everywhere.
Our day comprised of a stop at the farmers market (not much produce but a lot of souvenirs) and produce prices were exorbitant.
Searched for a laundromat and ended at Kona Brewery for beer tasting and lunch, followed by a walk under scalding heat to Walmart and Safeway for last provisional.
A hot day ended with a swim and a cold G&T and some rain aboard.
Tomorrow we clear out at customs and immigration and head to Kiribati with a night stopover at the bay captain Cook was finally killed.
