By many sailors considered to be the "Pearl of St Vincent and the Grenadines" now reaching low season (hurricane season approaching) we were lucky that Admiralty Bay and Port Elisabeth was not to crowded. The usual scenery of mainly monohull sailboats anchored have now been replaced by a majority of catamarans.
To me Bequia has kept it´s charm with lush vegetation all way down to the shoreline, and with it´s beachwalk lined with bars and restaurants. The legendary Frangipani bar is still there allthough quite empty of people when we passed by.
Dora Mac stands out as the odd man out as usual. People keep on passing by asking if it´s a fishingboat and "if the booms are for trawling" (the paravanes).
