John Deere started nicely and when testing under load it was all working normal !

The reason for clogged fuel filters was probably a 30micron Racor prefilter. It should be 10micron but I changed to 30micron when we had stalling problems due to airleak when on Gurnsey.

It was a great feeling to weigh anchor and head out to sea again with a healthy engine. Three knots of countercurrent in the exit of Cabo de Santa Maria was easily handled and once out at sea again we altered course to Portimao,our final destination.
