The trip south was delightful with flat seas and occassional dolphins in company with Dora Mac and allthough the "haul out chamber" was very narrow and DM without bowthruster the whole haul out was uneventful. It was interesting to note how parts of the bow was severely overgrown with barnacles and seaweed which is explained by this local area being painted with Swedish ecopaint after steel repairs in Gothenburgh (after haul out and tinbased antifoul in Norway) which gives a direct comparison of ecopaint and tinbased bottompaint after 2 years (then of course the environmental perspective from a satelliteview is much more important)
