We left Sixth Haven in Amsterdam and passed the Orangegate early morning ,coming out on a completely flat Markenmeer without wind. The passage of this 20Nm wide manmade lake was a "sleepy business",and we tied up in Enkhuizen just before dinnertime.
For dinner we were visited by Schout Schouten who was the former Dutch owner of Tarita. It was of great joy for all of us to hear old stories from the history of Tarita. What struck us most was the story of the second owner who was an Argentinian tennispro. He lived onboard Tarita in Puerto Banus/Spain,and had all his money taken care of by a Swiss "Financial Company".The company disappeared, and so did the money. These kind of stories repeats themselves time after time.It has struck me before but we really do live in a time of such GREAD !!
