After more than one year in the Baltic Sea it´s time to leave for new adventures. Heading for Norway the first leg will be Trosa (homeport) to Gothenburgh which is the main city on the westcoast of Sweden. This leg is around 450Nm which means 3 days at sea. It also means passing through Öresund (the waters between Sweden and Denmark) and so leaving the Baltic Sea coming out to salty waters and eventually the Atlantic again. The weather situation is unstable with a lowpressure over south Sweden allthough no gale warnings at present.
Preliminary plan is to cruise the vast Norwegian fiordlands focusing on the arctic part of Norway meaning Dora Mac has to hibernate over winter somewhere in northern Norway.
This picture from homeport was taken an hour prior to departure. If there will be pictures from homeport ever again is as with so many other things in life, written in the stars.
