Day after birthday youngest son Gabriel with girlfriend Sanna joined us on Dora Mac in Puerto Mogan for a week of cruising.

We had a delayed birthday dinner on one of the local restaurants and departed early morning crossing over to Tenerife (50Nm).

With galewinds from SW forecasted we needed to drop anchor in Abona Bay on the eastcoast of Tenerife (with prevailing winds from NE anchorages with good shelter from SW are scarce).

With good holding on sand we spent 2 nights in Abona Bay waiting out the gale. Gabriel took Sanna to make a soft test of diving on the beach in the bay.

Mercedes spent several hours every day in the galley prepairing amazing dinners
