With an increasing Meltemi we headed for the Milou Bay which is a remnant from the crater of the volcano island Milos once was (like Santorini).
In the north part of the bay is the main settlement Adamas situated, well protected from the Meltemi.
Here you anchor outside the beach east of Adamas on sand with good holding.
Like many Greek islands the old chora (Plaka) is situated in the mountains with good view over the sea which makes a visit to the chora almost mandatory.
Plaka is beautifully situated with a fantastic view overlooking the Aegean and the bar Utopia probably has the best view in town making it very popular place for a drink at sunset.
Small Greek restaurants are tugged in everywhere often out on the streets with Bougainvillea as the only roof.
Prices have gone up dramatically since my last visit here, but it`s
 still beautiful and charmy.
