We had some more lazy days in the Kekova area before heading for Finike and final destination. The passage as usual with a flat sea and some Meltemi blowing in the afternoon. We tried fishing the whole way but no result.
When coming in to the marina in Finike we were very surprised to find another DD-462 tied up alongside in the head of the marina! It showed up to be Bob and Margaret onboard M/V Highland Duck, DD-462 nr 9 out of 15.They are originally from Scotland but lived for a long time in Australia and are now sailing under Australian flag.Having been out for 6 years they passed up the Red Sea in company and with armed guards onboard. We went through each others boats and it was a pleasure to share all their knowledge. So fare they are very happy with the boat, but have had some problems with the electronics(Raymarine chartplotters,Comnav autopilot, and now with the bowthruster).
