I have replaced an electronic box on a Danfoss compressor before and that was on S/Y Tarita 2008. They were then made by Danfoss and the price was around 60Euros. Today the brand is Secop which means China production. The price today is over 180Euros which means an increement of over 300% in 16 years which in turn means someone is getting rich on the way to the customer. The salary for a consultant surgeon has increased 80% during the same time.

The middle class in the Western world is shrinking and becoming more and more angry. The above is probably one contributing factor.

With liberal capitalism "the market" is supposed to manage everything by itself but by failing it´s making normal honest working people frustrated,again perhaps a reason for voting for disaffected politicians.

Nevertheless the fridge and freezer is back in working order and we got to test the deepfreezer as well.
