Needing to find a straight connection for 16mm alupex piping I went out searching major plumbing companies in Stockholm. Finding spares for a boat built by an American shipyard is not necessarily easy. In Europe most things are standardised and with the metricsystem (since the U.K left through Brexit) used all over the EU you know bolts and nuts are all metric.

It took almost a day of search before finding the right piping with connections. Once installed the watersystem is up working again without leaks. While doing this it struck me you need to be quite elastic to get your body into small workspaces. A trait which is not improving with aging.
