After discussing pros and cons with hydronic versus airtronic heatingsystems the choice fell upon an airtronic system from Eberspächer.
Two weeks ago an Eberspächer D5 airtronic system was installed by Eberspächer/Estonia.
As seen from pictures the heating unit was installed nicely on the aft bulkhead in the engineroom. Heat outlets were placed evenly in saloon,aft cabin and pilothouse. Allthough the D5 unit is the most capable of Eberspächers aitronic units there´s a valve installed giving us an option to choose between heating the pilothouse and/or the saloon. Dora Mac is just on the limit of being to big for a D5 unit.
