Not a week without something to repair. The 24v electric motor of the engine room fan (bringing in fresh air) burned beyond repair. Being able to cool down the engine room on a long passage is mandatory and fortunately we had a spare fan motor with new brushes. After some WD-40 in it´s bushings it was installed and working.

Moreover our fresh water deck outlet has slowly worn down and was now impossible to close. Having a constant leak of valuable fresh water is not an option so it needed to be replaced. The replacement was not an exact copy but we found some adapters and managed to install a new deck outlet with brand new seals working well.

1 day before departure !
