All units are integrated through SeaTalk. Except for a DSM 300 fishfinder unit breaking down being replaced I have had no further problems with the hardware.
During the Mediterranean passage the boatsymbol in the middle of the chart "jumped" with movement of the boat. It was finally solved by bringing an SD card programmed with Raymarines new software and update the whole system. When discussing with Raymarine representatives I have been told the system is 12 years old between the lines meaning I should replace it for a new. That´s easily said behind a desk but except for the costs, reality means rebuilding parts of the interior of the pilothouse to install a new system.
My former experience from Furuno systems is more positive than with Raymarine.
The autopilotsystem is Canadian Comnav which for me has been a positive experience. Except from an alarm out at sea with "F2 fuse breakdown" I never had any problems with the system. It´s easy to use and handles Dora Mac beautifully in all weatherconditions I met so far. Important though is to calibrate the pumpmotor correct or it can wear out prematurely.
