Once down to the autopilot pumpmotor I found the motor twisted with the trimming scale invisible (the timing to reach endpositions of the rudder can be trimmed and should ideally be around 13-15 sec since to short interval will wear the motor out prematurely),the right/left pipes twisted (first pic) explaining the error experienced at sea.

Moreover there was no chafeprotection on the pipes which is important since these are moving parts and chafe becomes a dangerous reality after thousands of hours in service. The staff doing this installation did not know how to install an autopilot pumpmotor nor did he ask for advise.

After reinstallation the Comnav system is up working again (last pic).
