We made landfall in Almerimar before sunrise and needed to wait at the visitors dock until sunrise before we were advised a med mooring in the marina.

Just a couple of hours later 30-35kts of galewinds from NE was howling outside.

We spent three days well protected in the marina meeting Jesus and Silvina. Jesus is a diving instructor and was Mercedes teacher when she took her diving license in La Coruna back in the days. Now he has his own diving company in Almerimar and is living with Silvina. 

Silvina is originally a cruiser from Argentina now having her sailboat in Almerimar. Mercedes met Silvina sailing together in Palma some years ago.

Jesus and Silvina took us out to see Almerimar by night the first evening and next day we had a drink onboard Dora Mac.

Last day before departure we were invited for lunch to celebrate the birthday of Jesus .

With improving weather and one weeks delay it was time to "weigh anchor" again .
