Both the John Deere serpentinebelt and the 24V/140A Balmar alternator fanbelts had around 2.500hrs on them.
The front shield was easy to detach and with and automatic belttensioner the serpentinebelt was easily replaced as well. The tricky part was replacing the two Balmar fan belts where the inner belt needed multiple screwdrivers at the same time for success.Neither serpentine belt nor fan belts had any visible damage on them.
The J.D 12V alternator (charging 12V engine and genset optima start batteries) with almost 6.000hrs on it needed replacement as well. Allthough still working well it has now been sent for refurbishment to be kept as a spare.
