Venus is probably the most famous sculpture and is believed to be a depict of Aphrodie the godess of love.
The sculpture was found by a farmer on Milos 1820 and later confiscated by a French naval officer and brought to the Louvre in Paris. The one on Milos today is an exact replica of the one kept by the French.
Of course there`s also an amfitheatre built around 300 b.c and later rebuilt with marble by the Romans. It used to manage 7.000 visitors and the view from the theatre is magnificent.
Also today it`s used for theatre and music performances and allthough only available for 700 visitors today,an evening with beautiful music in this amfitheatre must be quite an experience.
