With 3 trains to reach Copenhagen airport,flying over London with change of flight and finally by car from Faro to Portimao the trip from door to door took 15hrs. Direct flights from Scandinavia to Faro are rare and expensive.

Mercedes will remain in Galicia another week so I will take my chance to follow the "to do list" and get rid of some necessary service.

First was the genset with change of fuelfilter which had 500hrs on it. With fresh memory from the clogged filters on John Deere (who had 1200hrs on them) I found it best to change. On the genset Northern Lights advised me to have a 30micron prefilter since the fuelpump is to weak to run on a 10micron.

Next step was to change the impeller of the raw water pump. From the manual they recommend change every 500hrs but I found an old note from Randal together with a refurbised pump saying the impeller was broken after 407hrs.

Taking the pump apart and taking the impeller out several of the blades were broken and it had 340hrs on it .
