Las Palmas marina is something as unusual today as a public marina and with a very good reputation. With several ARC´s departing from here (Atlantic Rally for Cruisers) counting many hundreds of boats every year, there´s a very good infrastructure for service and repairs.

Only backside is the problem to get a place . You cannot reserve and many cruisers have to anchor and wait for weeks.

We had been in regular mail contact and in the last mail they wrote "come to visitors dock and we will see what we can do ".

Making landfall at dawn at visitors dock below the marina office,the "marinero" in service immidiately checked us in and advised a berth !

The standard of the marina is very good, staff friendly and service minded and the prices probably the lowest is sothern Europe-wow !

Now awaits weeks of hard work preparing Dora Mac as well as a week of sea trial testing systems.
