Going north through the archipelago of the eastcoast halfway to Stockholm you will pass through St Anna archipelago.
One of the main communities here is Harstena.
Harstena has remnants already from the ironage and it´s community is mentioned by the Swedish tax authorities in the early 16th century.
Living from fish and sealhunting it´s population was slightly less than 100 people in the 19th century but today there are only a few people living permanently.
In the summer though the island is busy with summerguests and there´s a bakery, grocerystore and a restaurant open in highseason.
We came here for a weekend with Felix and his girlfriend Kajsa. Being off season we had no problems finding the best moorinplace alongside the restaurant.
