After a week of cruising Rias Baixas Oscar needed to go home and prepare for his examination ceremony in forrest engineering.
We headed to the bottom of Ria Pontevedra where the small fishingvillage Combarro is located.
The village has a reputation of being one of Galicia`s most pittoresque villages and charmy it is. They have a modern fullservice marina or you can anchor in the bay outside the village.
There are loads of musselfarms in the area so making landfall in nighttime might be a bad idea but othervise approaching Combarro is straightforward. After Oscar´s departure we needed to wait out a gale but spending a couple of days in Combarro gave taste for more. Walking the old town and enjoying fresh seafood in any of all restaurants along the seaside is something you should not miss out if you are sailing in Rias Baixas.
