This years service and upgrading-corroded throughhull (cont.)

As seen from the first picture the crack goes through completely corroded material.
A new throughhull will be welded in and hopefully there are no more potential "throughhullhazards" hiding.....
Looking at other visible throughhulls they seem to be made in a different way.
Welding stainless to steel seems to be asking for problems.......
