Except for the aircon reversed heating  the Sigmar dieselheater is a central part of Dora Mac´s heating system.

When needed first time this winter I had to spend several hours rinsing it´s fuel system (the outlet line clogged by carbondeposits) before I had it fired up.

For me it has also been a learning curve using the heater especially with the preheating procedure. Once you´ve learned the tricks the firing up procedure is quite straightforward.

In comparison with the aircon reversed heating it takes time to increase temperature onboard (with 6 degrees centigrades outside it took 12hrs to reach 19 degrees) allthough with a nicer quality of warm air and a much nicer atmosphere.
