I met Lasse through friends in Stockholm and we sailed one summer together more than 20 years ago. Today he and Adnah partly live in Lagos.

While catching up with a drink in the pilothouse an odd rowingboat passed Dora Mac and when we saluted the young woman rowing ,we learned to know she was on her way to cross the Atlantic ocean rowing !

Being 21 years old she was aiming for the record of being the youngest human to cross the Atlantic ocean in a rowing boat.

At sunset we were outside the breakwaters in open sea on track for a three day crossing to Madeira
