After four nice days visiting Gotland we found a window of reasonable weather for an open sea passage north to Landsort which is the southern entrance to the Stockholm archipelago (95Nm).
Making landfall on the island of Nåttaro around 10 in the morning Dora Mac was back in homewaters after 2,5 years away in the Arctic.
This time of the year also the Stockholm archipelago is completely secluded and in the well protected bay on northern Nåttaro we were alone. Dropping anchor with good holding we took the dinghy ashore for walking south through the forrest to the little settlement in the middle of the island.
For Mercedes this is exotic and beautiful (islands of granite with forrest) and for me it`s nostalgia coming back to homewaters. We will stay some days to enjoy the wilderness of the archipelago in lonelyness as well as doing some work in cyberspace.
