Yesterday was a dark day at sea with light winds
out of NNE forcing us to use Perkins and use diesel we so much need in the
end.Passing Mopelia 8Nm to starboard a heavy rain persisted all night long. The
light in the darkness was "La cuisine francaise Océanne"with fantastic crepes
for dinner.Today on the other hand has been a very nice day at sea, powered by
spinnacre we have kept a decent speed allthough light winds, and around midday we
saw a humpbackwale jump to port of Tarita. For the moment everybody are
sleeping, there´s a clear sky with the southern cross seem to port, and a
delightful moonshine. All sails are up including the mizzenstaysail, and our
current speed is 5.2Kts.Eric Clapton´s Leila comes out of the CD player.A moment
reminding me why I do this.....
