After this last drama on the Vestfjord with very tragic outcome it was obvious to me what an efficient rescue and traumaorganisation Norway has.
Not only do they have very good resources but they are also very well organised, trained and perhaps one of the most experienced organisations on the planet in rescue at sea.
Sitting in my car in Ballstad during the storm whatching the oceanspray from winds up to 80kts spreading all over the village I´m amazed all these rescueunits are able to operate at all.
My own experience from trauma in the hospital is positive. The organistaion is better trained and resources are better than in Sweden.
