Once in the dock for haul out the ever howling wind will blow you away from the dock but Dora Mac is not easily drifting in the wind and the assistance from marineros in the dock is professional.

They don´t haul out by lifting but by trail and divers check that nothing on the hull below waterline will be injured. After haul out Dora Mac was placed in the customsarea which means you can stay an extended period without risk of VAT.

We now have three days to prepare Dora Mac for four months on the hard. Four months in galewinds,dust and an ever burning sun.

Tarps on the superstructure and upholstery covered in plastics is on the schedule. Moreover we need to make an agreement with our contact person for regular checks mainly on battery status. This is the first time we leave Dora Mac without shorepower (not available on the long time storage) and completely rely on the solarpanels charging the 24v systems as well as the 12v batteries over 24/12v converter.
