Heading out to the archipelago northwest of Bodö we could drop anchor in Vågöysund,well protected from all winds except from the north.
With only basic fishing equipment after 20mins we had two pieces of Skrei, more than enough for dinner.
Skrei is a huge population of cod from the Barents Sea coming from the North Atlantic to Lofoten for mating between January and April every year. Subsequently this is the most intense fishing period in these waters since Skrei is considered to be much more delicious than ordinary cod (under influence from it´s mating hormones).
