Dressed in a wingsuit ready to skydive from a mountainridge I would feel like going to my own execution. Nevertheless this has become an increasingly popular sport in Norway and Rödöya with it´s steep mountainwall is considered a great spot for this. With the wingsuit you are supposed to steer to stay away from the mountainwall and in the end of the skydive you launch your parachute landing on the beach or in the water.
Some days prior to our arrival there were some skydivers on Rödöya all going well, but fatal outcome is a regular reality in this sport.
I can understand the challenge and beauty of this sport but being to extreme I think you need to be an "adrenalinjunky" to fully enjoy it.
