Saltsjobaden is a suburb to Stockholm and the place where I grew up. It`s a village devoted to sailing and reasonably close also to the outer archipelago.

We moored just below the Grand Hotel and spent some days meeting family and friends. With freezing temperatures and snow , we were happy to receive a serviced Eberspaecher with a new fanmotor installed.

The price for a new fanmotor with replacement was 1.500Euros though and of course a new D5 unit for 2.000Euros would have been a better choice. With it`s webpage hacked and down,delivery of a new D5 unit from Eberspaecher would be at least a month.

At this time of the year that was not an option. Installed same day as delivery it`s now again heating the boat working flawless.
