In the end of last season we replaced the John Deere seawater pump (Johnson) and the last weeks under way the seawaterpump of the Northern Lights genset started leaking. Having a spare onboard now it was time for replacement.

The old pumps have been sent to be refurbished to keep as spares and obviously these pumps have a limited lifespan before failure.

It`s the third time for the J.D seawaterpump to be replaced during my ownership and the second time for the pump on the genset. Refurbished and working sparepumps are obviously mandatory.
