After 3 days of galewinds the weather finally settled and we left Vlieland at high tide this morning bein washed out to sea by a current of over 3 knots. After having passed our first waypoint we altered course for our waypoint west of Hanstholm in Denmark and had a wonderful goosewing sail in beatiful summerweather.
In the evening the wind died out and we are currently under enginepower(my nightwatch 01.30,everybody else sleeping).
Outside is a fullmoon glimmering to starboard and the lights of an oilfield to port.
The new crew(Hans Ahlstrom,Lars Ewaldh, and Tell Törnblad)all arrived yesterday evening by Ferry to Vlieland.
