Heading north reaching latitude North 70 you head south into the Lyngenfiord.
The Lyngenalps are considered worldclass in terms of randonée skiing. Some of the tops reach over 1800m above sealevel and options for skiing upfront the ocean is plentiful.
At the moment there´s a huge amount of snow and subsequently risks of avalanches high. There´s a good app called varsom.no where you get daily updates and prognosis of risks in chosen areas.
The heart of Lyngenalps is the village Lyngseidet which is located 25Nm into the fiord. I reached Lyngseidet half an hour before midnight still with light enough for an easy landfall.
