Coming in to port earlier than anticipated I could tie up on the jetty belonging to the resort. In normal times there would be lot´s of people here for the skiing and for the nature and the sea. Now due to the pandemic the resort is closed and except for some fishingboats, the port is empty.
Today I contacted one of the mountainguides in the area, and except for the coronasituation giving bad business,he told me circumstances for skiing is perfect the coming days.
There´s plenty of snow and a good weather prognosis the coming days. In the first picture there´s a mountain to the left of Dora Mac. That´s "Husfjellet" which is one of the spots recommended if you want a good view over the sea. Four hours up,and one hour down with rather flat terrain. Sounds like a good spot to start with.
Taking a picture of the sunset the sun is still a bit over the horizon just before nine o`clock. In less than two months it will not go below the horizon.
