After a calm night onboard the Stenaline ferry to Kiel, there was a 10 hour
drive from Kiel (over Bremen-Osnabruck-Utrecht) to Vlissingen. This part of
Europe is certainly crowded. From entering the border to Holland the
highway towards Vlissingen looks like an eternal cue of cars all the way.
Vlissingen on the other hand is a very charmy city on the southwest
coastline towards the North Sea,and with an oceanfront Bouleward full of
small hotels and restaurants, I understand it´s a popular place for
summerholydays.
Marsgracht is expected to arrive tomorrow evening and unloading of yachts
will most probably take place on Friday April 27.One of the local
sailors(Rinus)from Michiel de Ruijterhaven, have been vey nice to help with
local security matters(to be able to enter a commercial port is a big
security issue since nine-eleven)and will help me out during discharge of
yachts.
