Anchoring at 12m depth in sand with good holding we spent two days in this completely enclosed and protected bay of Nordfiordvaag. There was no wind making the sea look like a mirror and with the bluegreenish colour typical for the fiords the sea gave a magic impression with the surrounding mountains reflected by the water.
Being completely alone only hearing sounds from birds and waterfalls the atmosphere was almost divine. With days and nights passing the sun illuminated the surrounding mountains from different angles and at midnight only the mountaintops were illuminated.
Modern creatures as we are cameras were frequently brought up for pictures (disturbing the harmony a bit...).
Beauty is different in different parts of the world but this place is one of the most beautiful places I ever saw.
