With the ambition to try to reach San Juan festivities in Galicia (midsummer festivity) in time we decided to head to Camaret sur Mer directly (130Nm) passing the whole peninsula of Brittany. Shipping forecast warned of occasional fogpatches but reality was clear skies all way.
Timing the tide in Chenal du Four we had some countercurrent turning east for Camaret.
Having our paravanes launched we collected loads of seaweed that must have costed some speed. Slightly before lunch we were moored alongside in this charmy fishingvillage and perfect departurespot for the Bay of Biscay.
