After a couple of days in Cap Cana marina renting a car for supermarket and visiting the beautiful beaches of Bavaro it was time to leave.

The armada came onboard for checkout and gave us a despacho for Samana Bay , a 120Nm ride to our final destination-Puerto Bahia Marina.

Circumstances in the last part of Mona Passage was perfect with no wind and flat seas. The only worry was the risk of getting entangled into floating fishingear, a well known obstacle while on night passage in these waters (see enclosed pic from the app of No Foreign Land).

Again we had to make landfall in darkness passing through some reef infested waters but to wake up anchored alone in leeward of Isla Levantado (Bacardi island from famous Bacardi advertising in the 80ies) was again what we had worked for. Moreover this was a special day reminding us that time flies.

Contacting the marina who spoke to the armada, it was ok to stay here for a day.
