After three nights at sea the coastline of Galicia appeared in the Haze. Already when leaving Brittany and passing the continental shelf to deep waters you come out in the deep blue crystal clear water which is typical for warmer latitudes. The passage of the Bay of Biscay was uneventful allthough spiced by the occasional dolphins playing around the boat every now and then and when approaching the Galician coastline we were greeted by Mercedes father who followed us on Marinetraffic.Coming into Rias Altas (the Rias to the east of La Coruna) you realize sailing is a popular sport here and we made landfall in Ria Ares at 18.30.
