On the continental shelf

The rest of the passage down to Lisbon was uneventful with light winds and comfortable seaway.
Changing the route with waypoints 25Nm offshore we were on the continental shelf the majority of the passage. That´s probably why we saw whales on several occasions.
Mercedes managed to do work for one of all customers ordering a logo for their new katamaran . With the name Ithaka the customers wanted greek mythology and an owl in their logo. Creating the logo in cooperation with the customers is the artistic part of the job but the company doing the actual paintjob (in this case in La Rochelle where the boat was built) also needs input on how to do the practical part of the job. This is a new world for me and there´s much more work behind these logos than I could imagine. Mercedes has a good name and most jobs are by recommendation from earlier customers.
Coming into Cascais late evening we made landfall in darkness mooring in the very bottom of the marina. Thirty minutes to Lisbon by train and the amazing city of Sintra one hour by bus we know what to do the coming days.
