Arriving the airport in Cagliari two hours later we had a long day of travel in front of us. Since our trip was a cooperation between KLM and AirItalia it was a mess to arrange for Biancas ticket and in the end we had to pay to both companies (to KLM over telephone and to AirItalia on the airport).

Arriving to Rome in the middle of a thunderstorm with a veritable skyfall the KLM flight to Amsterdam was delayed (due to weathercircumstances) but we managed to land in Amsterdam and catch our connection to Stockholm where we spent the night in a hotel by the airport.

Next day was SAS to Trondheim,further to Bodø and finally a two hour delayed Widerøe flight to Lofoten where we landed at one o`clock in the night in pooring rain.

Next day was snowstorm but now has been great winterweather with a beautiful Lofoten dressed in snow and frequent northern light.

I am on a surgery assignment and Mercedes is doing custom artwork for cruisers who wants to have artwork on their new boats.

Changing home from lazy days on Dora Mac in Sardinia to work in winter in Lofoten is a radical change of environment as well as routines of daily life.
