We have been anchored here a couple of days now at position N9:35 W78:40.It must be the only remaining paradise in the Caribbean. There are only Kuna Indians and some cruisers here, and no signs of tourism. In the morning there is a SSB(shortwave)radio net for cruisers in which we participate, getting weather, general info etc.
Yesterday we did snorkeling 4 hours encountering schools of Barracudas,Manta rays, nurse sharks, and a white tip tail shark passing close by.Some Kuna Indians came and promised to bring us lobsters, allthough we have not seen them yet.Today I looked in my almanac and saw that the pages were empty since several weeks back. That´s the first time in 20 years!
If anyone of you out there has a spareminute, then "google"on Kuna Indians. They do have an interesting story. We will revert with pictures once in Colon/Panama mainland having a better internet connection(this is satellite).
