Winds turned from NE to NW which made the marina much more protected and tranquile.
San Vito is a good place to hide waiting for better weathercircumstances (if not winds fromE-NE!) and we enjoyed our stay. It´s only 5-10mins bicycle ride to the village where many cafeterias and restaurants were already open allthough still low season.
San Vito has become very popular the last decade for it´s beautiful beach overlooked by the mountain of Monaco and is now a Mecca for watersports in high season.
The name comes from the saint San Vitus, who around 300A.D was burned in boiling oil only 12 years old for being christian. Obviously the christian narrative was not political correct yet but 1000 years later you were burned for denying it.
